Taps and dies. That is the whole catalogue, on purpose — we would rather make one kind of tool properly than a hundred of them badly. Every one is HSS M2, TiN-coated, rated to 600 °C, and marked on the shank with the size so you can still read it under swarf.
Taps break. They break in blind holes, in hard steel, and in the last thread before you are done. That is not a defect and we do not pretend otherwise — it is what cutting metal costs.
